Knee Joint Surgery

KneeJointSurgery is an online resource on Knee Surgery for Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Injury Physicians, Therapists and General Practitioners providing practical tips and evidence base to knee surgery practice.

Our brief was to re-design the Knee Joint Surgery website by developing a visually pleasing php template to communicate a wealth of existing information, statistics, news and images. Our design was built around the menu - as the site holds a vast amount of information, navigation was key. Clear navigation was achieved through tabular and submenu separation. Clear indications of your position is identified firstly by the white tab and secondly via the down arrow from the sub menu. Content is displayed in a simple 2 column format while the whole feel of the site is clean to compliment the medical theme. Next and Back buttons assist the user in reading the information.
